and support Interactive Voice Response Systems (IVR or VRU) for
internal departments and customers.
- Enhanced
or developed 11 VRUs for Reservation, Ticketing, Crew Systems,
Payroll, Finance and Skymiles departments which off loaded millions
of calls for these departments.
- Coordinated
successful VRU system installations in Atlanta and other Delta hub
cities, which involved getting racks set up to hold the PCs, getting
the Novell networks setup with the host gateways connected to
Deltamatic (Delta’s mainframe), identifying equipment
specifications and phone requirements to telecommunication groups in
various locations.

based function for travel agencies, written in C and assembler,
which acted as a PC ‘front end’ for the Deltamatic mainframe.

Participated in conversion of Pan Am's
Touchscreen Automated Ticketing Machines durring cutover of Pan Am
shuttle to Delta, involving re-writing C code, BASIC and Siemans'
Nixdorf's API's for the touch-screen interface.
